Our First Post

2009 is here and Tru Grind is moving in a whole new direction. We had a great year in 2008, and this new year will be no less. Lets look back at 2008.

-Syke meets up with Chilo in Hartford, CT and Charlie Y Charlie goes back in operation.


Syke meets Sonny for the first time.

-Tru Grind Music Group is regrouped and new plans are laid out.


-In this episode of the Expansion we see CYC in Hartford, making CD's and spreading the word.

-2 months later Shystah Sinnah flies in from Puerto Rico and immiediatly starts laying down tracks.



-Chilo and Sonny meet up with Syke and Shystah in Maryland

-Tru Grind lays down plans to release Tru Grind Mixtape Vol. 2. Unreleased tracks are added and the title is changed to THE COLLECTION.

-The Expansion moves to YouTube to reach more viewers.

-Charlie Y Charlie are invited to perform at the Puerto Rican day parade in Hartford CT.

-While Syke is in the studio, his camera is confisacated. Later he finds these pictures.







-Tru Grind Music Group is invited to perform at the 1Loud Street Festival in MA.

-Charlie Y Charlie go live on the radio and lay out the plans for 2009.
